Struggling painter Ryan hits rock bottom after being abandoned by his unfaithful ex. Drunk and heartbroken, he kisses an old stone statue and begs for companionship. The statue transforms into Eli, a powerful fallen god bound to him by a soul thread forged three centuries prior. Ryan is the reincarnation of Alai, the painter who sacrificed himself to seal Eli long ago. As they coexist and grow fond of each other, they face threats: vengeful ex Claire, seal keeper Otto, monster Hunter, and the cruel Divine Court Lord who bans mortal-god love. Through memory loss, petrification traps, deadly rituals and countless life-or-death trials, the pair unravel ancient secrets, defeat evil forces, and break the court’s unjust rules.
